Strictly 2014

Enjoyed the first show. I noticed that Aliona could barely conceal her utter disdain for gregg wallace. she clearly couldn't even bear to be near him. his dancing was terrible so happily for her he won't last long.

Felt a bit sorry for Judy. she was clearly riddled with nerves. I don't think she is going to set the heather alight but hopefully she can enjoy it a bit more next week, at least. she should get some votes because she is with anton, because apparently all the old dears who vote like him.

I liked Simon, both in personality and dancing ability.

Best dancer of all was Caroline, I thought. I thought her cha cha would have had 8s or 9s in a later week.

Not keen on Pixie Lott (only first impressions). good dancer but seemed a bit insincere and Trent is very annoying, but he'll probably calm down. Aljaz and Alison did well. she'll do well because she is the sort of person the judges don't like to criticise.

Anyone else notice Darcey was surprisingly tongue-tied? she struggled to articulate what she was thinking. still love her. Maybe she'd had a few.

The big question

ah RW forum, much like the Union, it has long since outlived it's purpose, but I can't help but be fond of the dear old thing.

long live the king of forums!

Strictly is back. and not a moment too soon.

I didn't watch the launch show, for the same reason I don't watch football pre-season. It's not the real thing, and it's good to hold off just a few more weeks. ratchet up the excitement another notch

they seem a nice bunch.

usual complaints in the papers about them not being a very starry bunch of celebs. but that doesn't matter, does it?

as someone who can't walk past a village cricket match without stopping to watch for at least 10 minutes, this games were just..all about the Games. no showbiz charlies needed.

he just doesn't get it. being a bit shit is exactly what makes the games so brilliant.
