10 miles for me to day legs were suffering after the run yesterday so just took it slow plus i had one or two stops on the way round picking up some sponsorship money for someone in work and reserving a van just encase the stuff my son wants to take to uni won’t fit in the car

Mervin have to agree with Tillstar your fast I’m only running at about 8:55 pace at the moment and that’s on a day

Robert good luck with the 10k Saturday my training for Brighton officially starts the second week in December all though i am at the moment trying to build a good base mileage wise so you could say it’s unofficially started i haven’t run any H/M in Feb though we have run the Longleat 10k for the last couple of years usually run the Bath H/M in march but we did have a change one year and did Llanelli H/M

Tillstar hope you enjoy your trip to London

Afternoon all

Well the 13 turned into 15miles for me today i woke up early so was out the door by 9.00am didn't fancy venturing to far from home so i ran my 2 and 3 miles loops pleased with the time of 2:18:09 as comparing it to a 15 miles run i did when training for Bristol last year as it's only about a minute slower and it’s the first time I’ve run that far since Brighton

Morning all

No running for me this weekend will be out tomorrow hopefully for a 13 mile run that a base run for me at the moment the plan is at this time to try and increase to 15 over the next couple months but it really depends on the time it takes me to run it as i have to be off to work by 2.30

Shan’t do too much running after Wednesday as i have the Bristol half next Sunday so will be resting up I’m going to have  pop at my PB but with the way the training runs are going at the moment I ‘be lucky to get sub 1:55:00

Mel sounds like the running going really well at the moment

Tillstar well done on the running looking forward to meeting you at Brighton next year sounds like a good plan for next Sunday i do that as well just run till i get fed up another good one is to go out without your Garmin on and just in joy the run

Swervin Merivn i like those deliveries as well it’s the anticipation of what colour start I’ll be in well done on the 10 miles may be worth trying to do a 10 mile once a week if you can the new watch sounds great i have the 103 forerunner and there stuff on their I’ve never used

Tillstar yes that's a good idea then if you feel like running something longer it your choice and you won't feel pressured to do so
