I'm really bad at posting lately

Had a busy day. Andre's paediatrician appointment then clearing out our shed and 3 trips to our local tip.

Ceal - not a nice experience on the M25. Nice day for a run. Would have loved to go for a run, but came down with a cold yesterday.

Brighton marathon was going up to 14 miles and my legs had nothing in them. Never had this feeling as they weren't heavy. The head wind from 18 miles to 22 miles was hell. The mile marker fell over. Finished in 5:33:49. Stop for a wee and nothing. So I was very de-hydrated. But I got my 6th Brighton marathon medal

Was running well to my legs went empty at 14 miles. Walked and eat a energy bar. I was very de-hydrated yesterday. The wind from mile 18 to the power station was a killer. My 2nd slowest Brighton marathon 5:33

Ceal - I will do my best to come to your birthday LFOTM. It will be a long day for me if I'm coming from Harwick. Think my train fare will be your birthday present x

John - well done on your 10k x

Ran the very first Hampton Court Palace half yesterday. Was managing untilnat 9.35 miles it got too windy and I had my first walk break. It was run on tarmac, gravel pavement and grass. The deep gravel path in front of the palace was hard work and used up lots of energy. It was mostly flat except for to slopes.
