Chris - sounds like a good plan to me. I booked last Sundays 10k a week before and didn't expect a sub 60 mins. You might get a nice surprise too.
Went club last night and ran 9.06 miles with 3 ladies in 1:040:51 Think I've overdone it a bit. So I'm going to rest until Saturday mornings run with 2 club mates in Epping Forest. There will be lots of hills
