Did that doughnut thread get cazzed then? ih and here does the term cazzed come from?

Many years ago, a forumite known as Caz either started or posted on a thread which was very quickly deleted by RW. This was the first time that anyone could remember this happening.

10k next week, I'm not ready!!!

You won't find many quitters around here Jacky, go for it - but take it nice and easy.

I've found that, when I know I'm not fully fit for a particular distance, I get a better result if I run/walk from the start rather than running as far as I can then walking or run/walking the rest.

Good luck and enjoy

Races that don't have a UKA licence

Posted: 11/09/2014 at 22:52

I would imagine race organisers don't bother with getting a UKA licence cos it saves them from one hell of a lot of red tape and paperwork. Many events these days are licenced through ARC instead. Doesn't bother me either way -  but then, I only 'race' for my own satisfaction.

If you need your results to count on runbritain, be more selective about which events you enter

Don't see why you should have to pull out. If you can run continuously for 25mins you can run/walk for a lot longer than that.  I'd go for something like 60sec run/60sec walk and I reckon you'll surprise yourself.

Give it a go

OK, I think we get the message.......

Nope Dusty they'll be running alongside but try not to squish them as they cross from one side to another...

They're not likely to reach the road crossing till around 1100 though
