Oh Nessie, what a nightmare!  Oscar's latest is 'I do it!'.  I've given up fighting that one as it's usually something he can't do like opening a wrapper on food or reading a book so I just let him try and the next thing is 'mummy help me'.  He's also specializing in the 'I don't want it' about something you give him to eat.  Instead of forcing the matter now I just put it out of his reach and only give it to him when he then decides he DOES want it.  I have a 2 strike rule on that one though, after the 2nd 'I don't want it' it goes for good!  Who knows what I will have resorted to in 2 weeks after 2 whole weeks of parenting alone, I'm sure he'll get away with murder as my nerves and patience wear even thinner!

LOL about the cockroach, nasty great things.  I'm trying so hard not to pass on any of my bug hang-ups to my kids so have to remain all cool when the big suckers walk through and casually scoop them up in the dustpan and throw them outside (rather then standing on a chair and throwing rolled up socks at them while screaming like a baby!).

the worms were here CC although we held off getting the meds and he seems to have forgotten he had itchy butt so I'm assuming he didn't have them.  Awesome running ladies, especially your 10k CC

Double grr Kinsey. I'm in the same boat as Fay was sick at nursery today and they say she needs to stay home tomorrow. She has been fine since she got home, eaten ok and no sick. Oh well, I'll get to hang out with my baby girl tomorrow!

On an unrelated note, Max's best friend had suspected pinworm (I think called threadworm in uk) which his mum treated with meds.  Max complained tonight of itchy bottom  oh pooo!  Might have to run out to pharmacy in a mo

Watching live stream of election results at mo. Eek!

Yes we need to get cc sorted over on the other page.  C'mon CM service desk. Your skills are required!

Camlo that sounded hideous. Great race report though and huge well done for doing it. As for going for a run afterwards.....just crazy!  I loved how you finished holding hands with your husband though. That's cute!

So CC are you at the stage of thrashing out who has the kids and when? Are you definitely separating?  With acceptance now from Mr CC?

Glad scan was OK Caro, you must have been exhausted to be able to fall asleep with all of that going on.

Hugs CC, your life is made up of huge contrasts at the moment between the week days and weekends, hope this weekend is OK.

Someone tell me to step away from the popcorn!  Bought a HUGE bag of cheese and caramel popcorn on Tuesday (I know, sounds odd but strangely nice - half of them are cheesy and half caramel), and I was eating that when I broke my tooth.  You would think that would be enough to put me off it but no, I'm nodging through it like a donkey through strawberries!

Welcome Blosson Possum, you sound as though you are doing well with your running.  I was never a great runner but am not at all at the moment.  3 kids - 5, 2 and 8 months.  I'm in Florida, moved here from UK about 5.5 years ago. Hoggle is in NZ so we have a few of us overseas.

Great race report (and great race!) Minks.

Best of luck to Lotte and Vixo this weekend.  Hope travel is straightforward Lotte, you've got a hell of a trip to do!  Who are your other team members?  Who exactly are you running for?

Vixo, your race has come at a hideous time for you personally, hope you can just get out there and enjoy it and the weather is kind to you.

Sadly not Mr Woods as he is sooo famous but actually this guy is probably better for us in some ways as he is very well respected.  Mr W has blotted his copy book somewhat!
