Haha Brookie. Don't take it personally!  Yes where is everyone?  Hope you're having great weekends.

I feel so far removed from the whole debate that I don't really feel entitled to an opinion but I would have been sad to see the country split up.  Apart from the emotional side of it, haven't we got enough government draining the nation without putting in a whole lot more?  I assume it would be the same as Europe where we have the local government but still have to abide by the central policies from on high?

IG, why the MRI scanner?  Hope nothing serious.  Do they really make that horrible clanging noise every few seconds?  How was it?

House is finally looking like it might be finished next week so we can move in!  Will believe it when I see it but we should actually be sleeping there next weekend.  Woo hoo!  Have no curtains so will be sharing everything with the wildlife but at least we are not overlooked so can get them in our own time.

Some of you will have seen my post on FB yesterday but I saw a manatee swim by the house yesterday, I was so excited.  I have never seen one in the wild before and this one was casually swimming about 6 feet from the edge of our lot!  Mr TT has seen dolphins a few times but I still have that to look forward to.

Mr TT is on his way home, will get back after the kids in bed so one more bedtime to deal with on my own but then I get some help.  Have lovely weekends all.

Oh that sucks JG, really kept you hanging on until the last minute there.

Camlo, awesome swimming.

Poo to long chain PG, hope it holds together.

PG3, that's great news about your flat and still being able to go for the house you want.  Have they actually accepted your offer?  Fingers crossed that it all goes through for you.  Good observation about sugar.  I did so well when I was pregnant at keeping my weight down as I HAD to.  I really must not let all of the sugar and high carb food back into my diet (oops, should not have bought the bag of M&Ms or the bar of Cadbury's fruit and nut should I?).

JG, hope you get some answers soon about your job.

Caro, wonder how you are feeling today, I hope the adjusted drugs have had the desired effect and you feel less sick this time round.  Is your sister going to do some park runs while she is staying?  I think I remember you saying she is faster than you (or is she more into long distances?), if so she will blow the competition out of the water!

CM - absolutely adore the photo of J playing rugby, that's a keeper! Hope the chaos at work was manageable.

Minks & Kinsey, good to see you both.

EF lol at your sister's text. Haven't we all done/thought that though?  Here it's cockroaches you are more likely to step on. Yuck.

I have Max sleeping with me while Mr TT away, he is snuggled up to me snoring softly at the moment. Priceless!

Fay woke up, grazed a little on left side then dozed off so I've put her back in bed. Hope she sleeps through now as I'm really enjoying cuddles with my big boy.

Camlo, that sounds very emotional, have teared up here just reading it.  Great run and brilliant report.  I totally get what you mean about having your dad there supporting, my parents did once and it made me very emotional seeing them around the route.

So glad you got to go ahead as planned Caro and stick to your schedule.  Happy to see your (speedy) sister was with you too.

Mr TT has been away for 2 nights so far.  Sunday night was OK, just threw boys in bath and put them to bed.  Monday morning and this morning my lovely friend (Max's bestest friend's mum) took boys to daycare for me and last night another lovely friend (my English friend) came over after work for company and helped get boys ready for bed.  Tonight we are meeting M's friend and mum and his brother for dinner in local kid friendly restaurant.  I have always been really bad at asking for help, always tried to be self-sufficient and independent but have got over that recently and started asking for help.  Makes life a whole lot easier!  Currently cuddling Fay and typing one handed.  Loving my cuddles, she can start at daycare in a couple of weeks but might delay a little as then we will be up to $600 a week for daycare!  That will go on until next August when Max starts school.  Don't want to rush into that kind of bill!

CM does the pain get worse when you take a breath?  If it does it sounds just like the referred pain I had after my section. It was gas (!). Hot drinks, gas medication and walking were the only things I tried to make it go away. Although that pain was felt in the front not at the back so may be completely off the mark. Hope you're feeling better.

Caro, hope your count was better yesterday. Just listened to both Passenger tracks that you and RF mentioned on FB. I've not heard of them before, both great songs.

Wow Sonya, scary about your heart rate, definitely get that checked out. Placental removal?  Oo-er!  I actually feel my life is complete without going through that for myself!  Glad to hear you are recovering so well. This idea of not lifting anything heavier than your baby for the first 6 weeks is lovely but impossible if you have any sort of life to live.

4 weeks on from birth we still can't believe we have a girl so don't be surprised if it takes you a while to believe you have a boy now. I occasionally get premonitions of what it will be like having a girl growing up and it freaks me out!
