I'd never heard of puddle lights before...just realised I've been driving a car fitted with them (and they work) for three and a half years and that my previous car also had them I'm always more interested in the engine and toque curves than the other extras though.

Long run - ha, iPad tried to change that to long ruin - for me tomorrow...and after watt biking and doing a kettle bell class yesterday and running and doing Pilates today, I think it's gonna hurt.

Still when I finish it's packing time for our anniversary weekend. We'll almost be in Welsh Wales so I will wave from my hot tub

Evening whingers!

Ferret...yes I had laser surgery about nine weeks ago now and I'm really pleased with the result. I might need reading glasses in the future but no need for any for distance work. I was back up to driving standard within 12hrs of the op too.

I use a hypnosis audiobook to help me sleep when my mind is going at a million miles an hour and I find it does help.

Debbo...brrr to snow already! Ditchy said earlier that the uk is forecast to get its first snowfall in the next week or so. It certainly did feel colder today...even had to de-ice the car this morning

Ferret...turf is for a new lawn at the top of the garden. Still a couple of phases to go to finish everything but it's progressing faster than the extension...

Seren...I loved Shanghai! It was really cheap to get about by taxi...think my most expensive trip was 7p! That was nine years ago now, though.

Ug...I really don't fancy that!

We had a 1.6m by 2.4m hole in the side of our house for an hour this morning until the window fitters turned up but there is a nice new door and side panel almost in place now. You could see daylight round the frame of the old door so having it gaping open wasn't much colder than normal.

Still got the new turf to lay as it was tipping down yesterday and can't get past the window fitters at the mo.

I didn't mean for all that to be unleashed yesterday but I will not apologize for what I said as that is how I felt. I am going through a shit time at the moment and I am probably more sensitive to stuff than I would normally be but not speaking my mind is partly what has brought me to this point in my life and I am not responsible for anyone's happiness other than my own.

I do not like that someone appeared last night and used my outburst to grind their own axe.

I don't mean to offend anyone with my statement above, just saying how it makes me feel. It may not be anyone's intention for that to be the result but that is how I feel and no one else can tell me how I should/shouldn't feel about something...it's my point of view and I'm entitled to it and entitled to share it, even if others don't agree.

Ahhh I do so love it when "everyone" comes back from a weekend away claiming that it was great to see "everyone" when it was clearly a private invitation only thing and not something everyone was invited to. Or is it just me that is Billy no mates?

Thames Meander Marathon

Despite my whites above, I did enjoy the run itself. It's a shared path so expected to have to dodge other walkers, runners, bike, dog and kids...the boats were mildly amusing in the scheme of things.

I have run the Thames Path Ultra with the river in flood so it was nice to see another part of the path without wading through water. I was surprised at how rural that section felt and enjoyed the views.
