and what's more, I can't stand men who nag at women to be more ladylike. If they want 'ladylike', there's plenty of women out there who are like that, so leave us tomboys alone because there are men who want us as we are.
It is a matter of personal preference. Personally, I prefer women to look like women - that for me doesn't mean short hair and no make-up. I'm not saying I don't appreciate the natural look, far from it. If a woman cannot be comfortable in her own skin without layers of slap then that is not attractive at all, but I do think subtle make-up can do wonders for enhancing one's beauty.
There is nothing weak or inferior about feminine women who wear make-up. Some of the most iconic women of our time use make-up and femininity to empower themselves in their careers and lives. And they're certainly not seen as shrinking violets.
Did i say there was anything weak or inferior about feminine women who wear make up? No I did not. I said that I can't stand men who nag at women to be more feminine. There are plenty of feminine women in the world for men who prefer that, but there are other men who don't prefer that (including my OH).
