Where do we start to tell you about the benefits of being a member of the site? How about:

Great events listings

  • You'll be able to see full event listings up to two months ahead in the Race Diary
  • You'll get truly localised race information using the 'Distance from home' selector on our Find an Event page.

Relevant content

  • You'll be able to customise your membership by filling in details about the kind of runner you are and what you like most. For now, this means that we'll be able to tailor our 'what's new' email (see below) to what we know you're interested in - say, beginners articles, or racing features. Before long, we'll be able to put more of the stuff you're interested in onto the main pages of the site, too.
  • We send out a customised email update every few weeks to tell you what's new and neat on the site (you can cancel this if you want - see 'Your privacy matters to us', below).

The finest UK running community

  • You'll be able to take part in our bright, buzzing <>forums<>.).

And...

  • If you're a Runner's World magazine subscriber, becoming a member and entering your subscriber number on your 'My Details' page will give you access to up to a full year ahead on the race diary, and to hundreds of articles of premium content (marked with a green 'RW+' icon).

Our magazine business is based on considerate mailing - that's why over half of our readers are subscribers. (Most magazines manage 10 per cent.) If you don't want us or other running-related companies to contact you, we respect that - simply untick the privacy boxes on your 'My Details' page any time you choose.
