Might just change gender for an easier entry....

You won't get that done by June 24th!

GM Very magnanimous of you for pacing.  Pacing & thus friendship is like wetting yourself, everyone can see the results but only you can experience the true warmth..

Speaking of getting wet, it pi$$ed it down here today, felt slightly under-dressed in shorts and t-shirt, in quite frankly un-Australian weather.  I was bloody pink with the cold, I know it is winter on Saturday but I think I'm going to complain to the consulate.  3.5miles before garmin died, then a further 2-3 miles of chugging.

Minni, Well done on your trip to the stretchy VET, I'm sure they'd just shoot me if I ever turned up there

My hands are wrecked & back is tight. Moisturiser? I think I need that Norwegan stuff.

The 3:00:08 Norwegian lady who Speedy didn't catch?  She'd probably make your back worse.

Speedy - enjoyed the report, it reminded me of my vomit-fest attempt at Edinburgh in 2010, power station, dirt track and cows, and glad to see the plastic matting is still there.  A mixture of space walk and jelly effect, Edinburgh should carry a health warning about that finish at the race course.  Probably cost the Norwegian lass her 8 seconds!

Ant, very tough picturesque race, not sure video of the air punch at the end had the full beans.  Looked like a TFFT air punch.

GM, I'm 6ft2 and 77kg, over 25kg lighter than my rugby days and only know that as I stepped on the scales last night for a comical how much weight could you lose 'after a pee' contest with the kids.  Don't worry much about my weight it is what it is.  Hope smoke free is continuing.

AR - Best battle report in Newbury since the civil war.

Speedy - Excellent time, not much to trim off next time for a sub 3.....awaits report .

Frazer - How close was your 81min pootle to PBootle?

Ant - much Spanish shoulder to shoulder duelling or did you enter survival mode on the hills?

A couple of plods for me 5 and 6.75 over the weekend, knee mildly better, although am fighting the lurgy as HR was up at 190bpm for 8min/miling on the 5 miler, with temps around 24 degrees.

MsE, Not sure Bike It would need a bikini wax, his trip would be better related to the plum job he has.

Had it confirmed today 'll be over in Southport for the month of July. Hopefully I'll be able to squeeze in a race or two, but maybe catch up with one or more of the threadsters.

I'm also back in blighty for July although no plans on visiting Southport, the closest I'll get is North Wales.

Lorenzo is that a computer generated 3:11:06 on the pie or has somebody actually made you a PB pie?

I did a 6 minute tyre change. Does that count?

Depends if the tyre was around your waist.

Poacher, I think a coat of nail polish would smarten them up a bit.....  So why is it a very useful VLSR?  What else have you accidently entered?

Nice gurning PMJ, great time.  I wouldn't even attempt one 6 min mile at the mo, for fear of spontaneous knee combustion.  And the caption comp must involve Dashers (with or without pebbles), skids and AR's afore mentioned Staines.

Ant, That's a catastrophe, it even shut Maccie D's.  What time are you aiming for in the HM?

Windy - did you spot the redback whilst out running?
don't think I've ever seen a wheatear.

Gul, Nah, Redback in backgarden & I've drunk a wheatbeer - does that count?

Swimming this morning around 1/2 mile of splashing, until what little I have of triceps/biceps and pecs completely siezed up.  I'm carp at swimming.

As for this running lark, did a bit, but just nursing my knee - no fast stuff and certainly none planned for another month at least.  Need a healthy base, grumble free.

Menn, OO, Lorenzo, Speedy nice racing.
