Calling all grammar pedant's

I assume it's because there's only two people being compared.

What is your oldest item of clothing you still wear?

Not sure, I might have some old stuff from my teenage years so that would be 70s/early 80s, I've definitely got some band t-shirts from early 90s

Oops - runners get hooted at by cars!

There's a stretch of road local to me where cars regularly get hooted at, on one occasion a friend got an egg thrown at her.  I was on this stretch and got hooted by someone in a white van.  I flicked him a V sign and swore.  Then he pulled up just ahead.  I prepared myself for the worst...turns out it was Dave from my running club just being friendly!

Breathless & Lightheaded

As has been said will they let you wear the rig for longer while exercising?

Have you noticed any patterns to when it happens e,g, a particular route, time if day, time related to eating etc?  It might be worth keeping a bit of a diary of this sort of thing and see if you spot any patterns that might provide a clue.

Another thought - is there anything about your posture that might be related?  In some people it's possible in certain positions that the blood supply to the brain can be reduced, which might cause light headedness.

Another thing that might give a clue is if you notice anything that relieves the light headedness.

I'm a physio rather than a medic btw.

I really think the whole "Smile, it might never happen" thing is a red herring. I'm male and I've had it said to me, and seen it said to other men too.  I'm not saying I think it's a sensible thing to say, quite the opposite, but I really don't see it as particular to either gender.

Having said that, if it's said just because you don't respond favourably to a guy making advances then I can see how it would get on your nerves.

Chatting up.

I'm single and so any advice I might have should probably be viewed with that in mind!

It's not something I've paid much attention to over the last few years - it'd be a nice bonus but I enjoy life regardless. I have recently had a quick look at online dating, but try just to be myself.  Personally I like to meet up pretty quickly or at least to speak on the phone, as I find it hard to get a "feel" for people via text/email, but I appreciate that women may have to think a bit more about personal safety than me.

The recipes would be the ideal accompaniment for those in this book.
