Essential Women's Index

A guide to everything on this site for women

Welcome to the RW Essential Womens’ Index. Just like our other popular indexes, we’ve selected our best articles and links, this time for women runners.

Yes yes, we know: there's not that much difference between girl running and boy running. Some of the articles here are just as suited to men, and 99% of the articles on the rest of the site are just as suited to women. But we hope this page might be a useful starting-off point, and a guide to good reads you didn't know we had.

It goes from training schedules and women-only races through to first-hand articles on pregnancy. From tips on weight loss to how to balance a hectic life. If you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro - it’s all here.

Some of the very best articles are only for subscribers to Runner's World magazine ( )* - but don't worry, you can take out a subscription right now, at 30% off. You'll get instant access to all the web articles, plus 12 months of Britain's best running magazine. *(UK edition)
