Hot chocolate and raspberry shake

Get all the health benefits of oatmeal in a delicious hot chocolate fix

Serves: 2

Preparation time: 8 minutes

  • 600ml semi skimmed milk
  • 2 tbsp drinking chocolate
  • 3 tbsp medium oatmeal
  • 100g raspberries

1 Place the milk, drinking chocolate and oatmeal in a saucepan and bring to the boil, simmer gently for 5 minutes until the oatmeal is soft.

Place the raspberries in a food processor or liquidiser and add the chocolate milk and blend until smooth. 

3 Allow to cool slightly before pouring into 2 tall smoothie glasses.

Top tip

- Use frozen raspberries as a convenient alternative.
