ONLY SPORTS BRA FOR ME

Minimal movement, good close to the chest wall fit
As I'm short I need to sew the straps up an inch or so to avoid up and down bouncing. Still it's worth the minor inconvenience for a tailored fit
Would recommend highly, have tried on loads of sports bras and this is the only one that keeps my wayward boobs in check

A REASONABLE BRA THAT REDUCES "FIGURE OF EIGHT" MOVEMENT.

Designed especially for high-impact sports and available in a D to G cup, this bra is comfortable to run in thanks to the padded shoulder straps and Coolmax fabric. It provides a decent level of support without the flattening effect some sports bras designed for bigger breasts have. It was reasonably priced, and comes in my favourite colour - black!
While side to side/up and down "figure of eight" movement is certainly reduced, my breasts still seem to bounce in the classic "up and down" fashion a fair bit. It's not enough to cause any discomfort, but is enough to be visible. As a 36D I am at the smaller end of the size range this bra is designed for, so I imagine bigger breasted women may find it even less effective at minimising "up and down" bounce. I also find that the stitching on the back of the Shock Absorber label on the front on the bra rubs on the skin just below my sternum, making it quite sore. However, this problem is easily eliminated by applying Vaseline to the skin before running.
Overall, the bra does substantially reduce breast momevent (by up to 74% according to the Shock Absorber website), and other than the aforementioned chafing, is comfortable to wear. However, I feel it may be better suited to other high-impact sports where the motion is not quite so repetitive and chafing is less likely to be an issue. I think that for us runners there may be better sports bras out there.

EXCELLENT SUPPORT – MINIMAL BOUNCE

Traditional looking bra with back fastening. Extra wide comfort straps stay in place & help prevent chafing. The dual density fabric fully encapsulates each breast & the cool max material ensures that you stay comfortable & feel dry.
Rather industrial looking – but to be honest who cares as long as it does the job so well?
Over the years I’ve tried nearly every sports bra that’s come onto the market aimed at the well endowed & always, without fail have ended returning to the B109 vowing never to forsake it again! I'm a 32DD & when I’m wearing it I can forget that I have bosoms & just concentrate on running - no discomfort, no distraction & no bounce.

The bra comes in colours other than white (black, natural & pink) which is useful if you want to avoid the once white but now battleship gray look. Even after loads & loads of washes it still performs really well & dries overnight too. I know when the bras get near to retirement age as I find I have to tighten up the straps & fasten the back on its tightest setting to avoid getting chafed.

BETTER THAN THE B517

I purchased a B109 and a B517 at the same time. The B109 is much softer material and just seems to mould to your body better.

The first thing I realised, was that I wasn't thinking about how it fitted when I ran - so it must be good.

Nicely padded straps and no chafing so far!

It also doesn't make you ultra sweaty and you can easily use a heart rate monitor with it (which I haven't been able to with my Enell).
I suspect the support wouldn't be good enough for larger sizes; not as supportive as the Enell.

Watch the sizing; I had to go up a cup size from my 'normal' bra size.
This is my favourite bra and if you can only buy one sports bra, this is the one.

THE BEST BRA FOR WELL-ENDOWED LADIES!

It simply holds everything in place superbly
Tendency to chafe a bit in humidity
The best spots bra in that price range on the market in my book, after trying for years to find the right one
