COMFORTABLE, BUT MISSING THE FEATURES OF THE SENNHEISER/ADIDAS MX 680I

- for me, they're more comfortable then the in-ear MX680 / CX680
- good sound, allowing enough traffic noise to hear that car that's about to run you over...
- Missing the iPhone integration (microphone/next track/previous track ) functionality of the Sennheiser/adidas MX 680i, which are similar to the CX 680 http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B003VJ1O34
- Not fussed by the volume control - I leave it on and wear it under my clothes
Very comfortable to wear if you don't like in-ear headphones. Bit worried about sweat/water resistance, but time will tell..

The only real sports headphones but they never last

Fantastic fit
Good looks
No real competition
Good enough sound
I have had 5 pairs of various iterations of Sennheiser, none of them ever lasted, but for different reasons. 3 of them had a mic which eventually broke down, probably due to sweat tricking from the wires. 1 of them had wire damage at the base, another lost power on one side.

REALLY annoying
I keep on buying these because really, there is no competition, but really, they should be better built

the ipod of running earphones!

lightweight, durable, sits tight even for those who wear glasses, great sound quality, active colourful design that attracts second looks, makes you feel more confident about yourself and your run or gym activity
The volume knob in the centre with the hook behind it is pretty much useless. The designers should have used some other attaching or clawing device. I have had an issue also with the volume knob not functioning well leading to the sound output crackling and giving up three months into a purchase but the Sennheiser Service Centre in Mumbai were good enough to offer a free replacement even without producing the purchase bill which I had long misplaced!
Brilliant. The adidas - sennheiser partnership really works for me. I am glad that a well designed and thoughtful piece of sport headphones exist amongst the glut of other substandard products on the marketplace and am amazed why Nike hasn't thought of launching a product to match this!

OK I have weird ears - in ear headphones always fall out. These have been great and I love them.

Snug fit that delivers good music quality and allows the outside world to penetrate at the same time. I find them very comfortable both for running and cycling and use the clip provided to attach to my collar which leaves the volume control dangling about midway down my jacket. Volume control is easy to use when running or cycling and can be ditched if you are using something like an iPod Shuffle that only needs a small cable to connect to an armband. I have completed long runs with no problems at all. They also fit under my cycling helmet nicely and have never come close to falling out!!
A bit expensive I guess, but I would buy them again if these were taken from me. I commute with a rucksack and the headphones can be knocked up and down by it when running. I have gotten used to it quickly and they stay in place. I do not even notice it any more but it could annoy others. The cable is a little long, but this is solved with a freezer bag tie!
These are easily the best sounding and most secure headphones that I have ever purchased and significantly cheaper than some I have tried. Sound quality is good and they are comfortable. I would really recommend them and am seeing more people with them on foot and bike.

Flippin volume control!

As always, it's excellent sound quality and a great robust fit and sweat proofing
I was pleased at first reading of the addition of a volume control, I thought it might be handy, but it just gets in the way! Because of the length of the wires, there is no useful place to clip it. Grrr. An option to remove it and not lose wire length should have been included
I'd still buy them again tomorrow if they broke today because they are the best fit and don't move for hour after hour of running.
