Go for the pmx 80 sport orange color I've had mine for well over a year and have used them for many marathons and half marathons, still in perfect working order too

Personally the thought of a set of heaphones having earpiece failure after 7 months warrants a two or three star review not the five as the item hasn't even outlasted the 12 month warranty. 7 months is appaling from a quality perspective and not what I would think acceptible for a brand like sennheiser.
