Real motivator, winning the cup each week is important to me!

Easy to use, comfy chest strap.
You will be so annoyed if you forget to start it at the start of a run.
Great piece of kit, relly motivational, more expensive than some but is reliable with all the extra features. My 2nd Polar.

KEEPS YOU AIMING HIGHER

Great if you are the type of person who needs to have set goals, and always aspires to beat them. The features are vast, accurate and fairly easy to get used to.
Like other reviewers I would have loved this to have doubled as a pedometer and give a distance feature.
Good piece of kit, constantly challenging you and helping you become competative with yourself. Giving you the raw truth about your fitness...a definate motivator!

GREAT LITTLE NUMBER TO RECORD AND MONITOR TRAINING

Easy to use. Love the ability to keep record of training both on HRM and on my computer.
Has no facility to record splits - I feel that this would be an improvement to this model.
It is my training companion, easy to use and prevents me from over training!

MY PERSONAL TRAINER... MY COACH...

It's enough to keep me fit and motivated, "kicks my butt" every morning for sunrise trail or road run.
Good interface via my laptop to www.polarpersonaltrainer...
Speed and distance would be nice...didn't think of this "nice to have" when I bought my HRM.
Works fine and it's an important part of my life, can't go run without it.

HATE NOT WEARING IT

Easy to read,and use once you have got used to it
My watch sometimes freezes,which is annoying during a run
I got this because not only do I run but I do gym work.
And as this is aimed at the fitness market more than the running market I thought it would suit all my needs.
I feel lost when I forget to take it with me
