Allows me to watch in detail as my fitness improves.

AN EXCELLENT PIECE OF TRAINING EQUIPMENT.

I've had my monitor for several years now and find it invaluable when in serious training. I find the user programmable training sets (five in total) very handy, with its large storage capacity when I exercise whilst I'm traveling (most weeks) I can keep all my records until ready to download to my pc. The battery has lasted several years but now has finally started to get low and so will need replacing soon. I only wish that the start and stop button were the same button, as sometimes after a strenuous session I struggle to hit the stop button. A small price to pay for such a great HRM.

EXCELLANT TRAINING TOOL

Has a wide range of different functions depending on how advanced you wish to be! You can have it basic or as in depth as you want

Side buttons did crack early on and fal off but Polar quickly shipped out some new ones!

AN EASY TO USE WATCH THAT CAN BE SED TO SUPPLY A GREAT AMOUNT OF INFORMATION ON HOW TRAINING IS GOING! FULY RECOMMEND BUYING A IR POLARFACE TO DOWNLOAD YOUR EXERCISES

TRIED AND TESTED ALL ROUND RUNNING TOOL

Good reception. Good memory. Easy to use. Many settings available.

Sometimes loses signal, but much less than other monitors I've used in the past. Has to go back to Polar for the battery change in order to maintain warranty.

I've been using my S610 since early 2003 in conjunction with the Trainer software. I'd buy another if I needed to.

TOP DRAWER

There is little it doesn't do. I have had mine for over 2 years now and have clocked up 380 hrs of training. I love the calorie counter as it (in my mind)justifies my horrendous diet! I am still using the same batteries as well, I was told when I first started using HRM's that it is vital to fully dry the chest strap after each exercise as if there is moisture on it then it will continue to transmit, emptying the battery.

For me, the memory fills up quite quickly but the software is invaluable when you need reminding just how little you've actually done!

Absolutely first class. I paid £180 for mine and it has been money well spent. For those who may have picked one up from Gaiam or a site like that for £120 ish, it really is a bargain.
