Good value considering what you pay for it now amd very accurate with clear display and comfortble.

Very good value productwhich has benn highly recommended by numerous other runners.Display is very clear and easy to read and can be adjusted to what you want displayed or not.It may look big but once on your rist it is very comfortable and easy to run with.Battery life excellent.
Can take a while in some overcast and cloudy weather conditions to pick up satalite signal.
Would highly recommend this product even though newer versions are out there but are far more expensive.

Garmin Forerunner 305, wrist GPS for low price that offers everything you need for good training

Since it is older model price went down big time! And if you don't need this kind of device to showoff around, and if you read reviews and available features (you can read them here http://garmin-305-review.com/)you will see that Garmin 305 has all you need for well controlled and planned training.
It looks little bulky at first.
Great product that stayed around for some time and with god reason. It has been tested for some time and proved to be reliable. And, As said, it is much cheaper that similar products. You can't bit Garmin 305 when it comes to what you get for your money.

it's quite chunky but really cheap right now and does a gret job

it does exactly what it says!

it always picks up a signal even where i live surrounded by quite tall buildings

battery life is good even if you are out for a long run/walk/hike

although big it sits comfortably and you will get used to it after a run or two
big - young children think that you are james bond and stop you in the street to try to get you to fire a laser out of your watch

as with all gps i guess, the accuracy goes off a bit when you are surrounded by buildings

the software that comes with it is crap, but you can use loads of other free resources - recommend "garmin connect" website where you can upload / analyse / share your runs
i love it! if you have always wanted one but couldn't justify spending 200+ quid on the latest and greatest model, take advantage of the low price now while the later model is drawing the attention of bigger spenders. it does everything you will ever want and it does it very well.

Changed the way I run, Love it.

tells you your current pace so you know when to pick it up. knowing my distance is a crucial part of my training. My favorite feature is the virtual partner, I set the watch to run a little faster than my previous run and have to try and catch up with it. I love it so much
It's a bit bulky so cant wear it as a watch. The battery isn't great and needs charging every couple of days or so. takes a little while to find satellites sometimes but have now discovered your can start running before it connects fully and still records most of the run
I love this watch, it's now cheaper than the 205 with all the features plus the additional option of HRM if you want it. Buy it now as it's sure to go up and at around the £100 mark it's a lot cheaper than other watches on the market and will change the way you run forever.

Works well enough... Once it's found satellites. Very big for small wrists!

Simple and easy to use and program. Downloaded RW VLM training programme from web-site with no problem. Big, clear, easy to press buttons when your running.
Sometimes takes ages to locate satellites, wasting precious running time! If you have small wrists like me, the watch is huge and took a little while to get used to having a "brick" strapped to me! This has been addressed in the later 405 I believe.
Works very well but is now over 5 years old and beginning to look and feel like it.
