Great product, perfect for running, an ideal accompaniment.

Light to wear, easy to turn on and wait for it to find satellite and then just push one button and go! It has a far more accurate gps tracker than my mobile phone so I am able to get more accurate times/distances. I also like to monitor my heart rate so I can see how much time is spent at 90%+ of Max heart rate.
Screen can be busy, I need reading glasses but I can't wear them whilst running as I can't see with them on, only need them for reading. So there is a lot of information on the watch that I am unable to see until I get back home.
Great deal online which is what tempted me to buy it, no regrets. Analogies to describe it: I could hand wash all my clothes, but I bought an automatic washing machine. I could cook all my food over a fire in my back garden, but I chose to buy a gas cooker. I could work out my route, time and distance for myself, but I bought a Garmin 305 and it does it for me.

Really pleased with the 305 as my first GPS watch

Plenty of advanced features; good battery life; waterproof (but I wouldn't swim with it; picks up satellites fairly quickly; good online site (Garmin Connect).
If you aren't used to running with a watch, it feels big. Very big.
I got my Forerunner 305 through Amazon where it was on special offer as this watch has now been superseded by newer models (310XT if you're a triathelete, or 410/610 if you want touchscreen). Bargain.

Garmin 210 misting is a problem

Not to big and simple to use
watches suffer from misting had exchanged three times and each one misted up after 20 mins running
Could be a good product, Garmin need to solve this problem rather than saying it is the dampness in the atmosphere, no other watch I have bought suffers this, was asked to send in a report with my last watch, but Garmin did not bother to respond.so I must say I am not very impressed with this watch.

My favourite piece of running kit!! The best £115 I've ever spent! (Bought from Amazon in November 2010)

I love the whole thing! So easy to set up and quick to pick up a signal. Connects well to dailymile.
Bulky to wear on my small wrist but its not a problem once running. I'm having problems down loading maps to the garmin though, but I think that is me or my computer rather than the watch.
I never go out without my Garmin 305 on a run now. I can see the improvements I've made at a glance on the Garmin Connect dashboard. It gives me encouragement to keep going! Easy to read face and easy to set up for me too! Brilliant piece of kit!
