the best thing i ever bought

its good that i can go for a run in an area i don't know and can be accurate in the time and distance.
good overall set of functions and good for different sports
easy to set up and use
does tend to look rather large when you first get it and heavy but when used to it no problems.
can take time to get a saterlite
would not be without it

If you're serious about running this is an valuable piece of kit

Covers pretty much all you would need to improve your times. Best feature by far though is the Virtual Partner. Gives you confidence when you are running well and a kick up the backside when you are not.
A little slow in picking up satellite reception sometimes. Could be a bit smaller. Garmin Training Centre is not that easy to use.
Glad I took the plunge and bought one. Highly recommended.

Really great for keeping an eye on what you need and want to know.

The Garmin is easy to use,it simple to upload data for review and the GPS very accurate. Its very quick to connect and stays connected through most environments.
Its easy to set up your different screens, so you can see the information you want clearly. It has many usefull features, some of which I probably wont use, but still nice to have them there.
Probably only due to an old wrist injury, but I find it hard to see the screen when lifting my arm up. For me, the screen would be better placed where the GPS chip currently is. Im sure for most people its a non issue, but for me its something that is quite annoying as I have to really twist my wrist round to view it.
Excellent. Really easy to set up and use and great fun tracking your stats on the supplied or 3rd party software.

Fantastic tool. Could not be without it now....

Easy to use, quick download of data. Great to set to your own spec for HR, pace, speed, calories or whatever combination you want..
Is a bit bulky but it's for training not a night out!!!!!
A great addition to anyones kit, whether you are a cyclist or runner....
