ALL YOU NEED IS RUNNING SHOES, CLOTHES AND GF 305

Configurable display to show what you want to see.
Connect to a PC and synch to 'Sporttracks' log.
Excellent reception in heavy tree cover
Virtual runner
Training options
Training courses
Garmin updates
Import / Export courses
Long battery life
A little slow to synch up to satellites.
It looks bulky but does not, at all, feel bulky to wear.
It is great to buy something and get more than you bargained for. The 305 is full of features for all types of training needs. The configurable display allows you to show what you want to see.

There is a large amount of training options including Virtual partner and Courses which can be from your previous routes or downloaded.

It is rugged and can take a good muddy, cross-country beating.

Lost without it!

CAN'T TRAIN WITHOUT IT!

Great for detailed training/racing results or for training guidance use.
Elevation seems random and inaccurate. HRM will pick up radiation from overhead powerlines giving me a HR of 235BPM!
Feel naked without it.
