MY FAVOURITE NEW GADGET!

Easy to use, smaller and more watch like than previous versions, picks up satellite signal OK. Quick and easy to load send info to the computer, no wires attached. No loss of signal in wooded areas or built up city areas.
Battery life not so good. Garmin Connect website always runs very slowly, but Garmin Training is really great.
It's a great piece of kit that I'm really happy to have bought.

AMAZING!!!

Picks up satellite quickly, clear display, comfortable to wear.
Bezel is sensitive and sometimes touch it by accident, changing display - not always very helpful.
Really good piece of kit to help motivate and track training. You can tailor it for certain sessions i.e. interval which is very helpful. Definitely worth the money.

GREAT WATCH NEEDS ATTENTION TO DETAIL

Neat smallish watch, finds sat's quickly (unlike 205)
Display very clear with adjustable backlight
Ability to easily disable screens you are not using & has scroll feature.
No distance alarm?
Goes into standby after just 2 mins (start line waiting more than that usually?)
Unable to send data to map software (It will only talk to garmin s/ware)
Bezel looks swish and work ok but sometimes contiues to scroll through about 6 pages after you stop using it. Also those words could be engraved into the bezel to prevent wear.
Nice watch certainly an improvement on the 205 for 'finding' satellites. Smaller neater & can be used as a watch on race days as opposed to stuffing it into a bag and taking another watch to wear casually. Standby is going to cause problems if you dont keep it 'awake' by touching the bezel every two mins at the start of the race, could have been designed as user setting. ease of use marked down because of this.

overall pleased...

GPS HRM WATCH YOU CAN USE EVERY TIME YOU GO FOR A RUN

Looks good, comfortable to wear, great data displays on the run and with a footpod can be used indoors.
very easy and quick to get a signal, mine can get the signal indoor near windows. no loss of signal during running even under trees.
Battery life is rather short requiring fequent recharges. not very water resistant
Best GPS HRM watch yet
