Hi, I'm planning to start (monday) running using 5k, 10 and hopefully half marathon schedules. I've not really timed myself for the last 20 years and as my running has been very sporadic, I wondered what thoughts anyone has on whether to just buy a watch, distance monitor or a HRM. My final aim is a the Great North Run next Sept.
