A GREAT TOOL

All the features anyone could need (it even tells the time!) and more. Easy to operate with good customisable screens to make it easy to see relevant data during a run, even with dodgy eyes! Good battery life in watch and chest strap
Still not Mac compatible, footpod battery life not as good as it should be and batteries can be expensive. Needs bluetooth to make data transfer to PC more friendly. Manual not easy to navigate and some features buried with no mention in index. Manual calibration difficult to set accurately and altitude has to be ignored asit has a will of its own
This tool has helped me to develop my running to become more efficient with greater speed

THE ULTIMATE HRM

Does everything and does it well.
Costs more than others, some people wont use all the functions.
There is no better HRM with truly excellant after sale service and support, but it comes at a price.

USEFUL TOOL TO KEEP YOU INTERESTED

I brought this about 2 years and enjoyed used it for all the runs since then. Brilliant software. Many interesting stats and features to keep you engaged during a long run, and afterwards. Fun to go through the various graphs.
I had some initial problems with the strap which were sorted out under warranty without any difficulty. I didn't like the style of the strap and so uses only during running. Mine is not fully waterproof. I have seen mist forming inside the glass during a long run. More expensive than other makes.
Very useful and engaging watch and software. Will recommend without any hesitation.

VERY GOOD

Once the footpod is calibrated, the measured distance is very accurate. Excellent HRM. Very good analysis software too (Pro Trainer 5)
Having to calibrate the footpod for multiple pairs of shoes.
Excellent.
Loads of graphs to enable runs and performance to be analysed and acted upon.

VERY GOOD AID FOR MARATHON TRAINING

watch is not clunky, speed/distance generally good, HRM belt stays in place for me, don't even notice the footpod
distance sometimes wonky (notice it in some races), need to work out how to deal with elevation/altitude; custoemr service in UK sucks big time, head office much better
great, bought mine on ebay from outside UK (usual nuts pricing in place here), unless the new Garmin is much better, this is the best going
