EXCELLENT VALUE

Cheap and does exactly what I need
Big and chunky compared to newer models, but hey-ho
I bought mine of e-bay for £45; a complete bargain. No fuss, really easy to use tells me pace, distance, time etc.
Buy one :)

VERY GOOD

See to use and read while running
Weak connection between Unit and strap.
Because of the 101's bulky size, twice in races my unit was hit by flying elbows / arms which knocked the unit away from the strap.

BRILLIANT

the virtual partner feature is brilliant for if you want to go a chosen distance in a certain time or if you want to do a certain pace for a distance for example.
getting a signal when you switch it on it takes a few minutes.
brilliant because you can pace yourself exactly right with this watch.

DOES WHAT IT WANTS ME TOO, AND WELL.

The Features - Timer, Distasnce, AVG Pace, Speed, and the Mapping features. They all work well (except for Max Speed - see Weaknesses).
It was cheap £60 incl. P&P form Amazon. Quite Light, I don't notice it when I run. Simple to use. Quick at picking up signals (1/2 minute). Cery good battery life, I bought it recently and have ran around 4hours total with it and is on half battery.
Max Speed is messed up a little...sometimes when I run I get speeds of up to 40mph...but Pace and AVG Pace works well.
I think this is really good for its price. It was £60 and has changed my running from www.mapmyrun.com to improvising runs.

GREAT FOR BEGINNERS.

Simple to use. Cheap on ebay.
No PC interface. Quite large. Sometimes crashes.
I bought a used 101 on ebay for £45 - what a bargain! Looked like it had only been used once. It's great for me to see how I'm improving, and now I don't have to take the car round my routes to see how far I've gone!
