Suunto X10

Summary | Full Review | Reader Reviews | Gallery | Specs | Discussion

One of the most expensive devices on test but worth the investment if you're a competitive mountain/fell runner, or even just a gadget fiend.

Packed with technology, the X10 features an altimeter, barometer, compass and navigation systems - as well as operating the speed and distance functions by GPS.

Screen visibility wasn't great in cloudy weather without the light function, and the buttons were stiff.

Functionality was a bit tricky initially, and required more than one session with the manual to get to grips with it, but the accuracy of the readings was excellent and the GPS signal remained strong under building/tree cover.

The watch looks and feels indestructible and your info can be downloaded to your computer for later analysis.
