Taste sickly

Does give you energy but...
Tastes absolutely vile. Would risk taking it suring a race due to the possibility of vomiting. Also leave mouth feel dry...

Does the job

I bought mine from Asda so the are easy to find, no specialised shop. They are cheap and I thought they tasted fine even without water as people have complained, I haven't tried any other gels so maybe I don't know what a tasty gel tastes like.
Can't think of any.
They are cheap and easily accessable, I tried one 20 mins before my first 10k race, I never felt wanting for energy and I sprinted like a madman the last 1k and finished 39.52, whether it was the training or the gel, I don't know.
