WEAK TASTE BUT GOOD ENERGY BOOST

Provides a great boost of energy just when you most need it. I first used these for the Great North Run and was pleasantly surprised at how good I fealt at the point when I am usually starting to tire. I ended up knocking 7 minutes off my PB, which for me is definately not the norm!!

Very weak taste and feels strange in your mouth if your not used to energy gels it's a good job the sachets are only small!!

The point for taking energy gels is to boost your energy at the crucial stage, which these gels definately do. The taste could be better but hey I'm just fussy!!

GREAT ENERGY BOOST, BUT TASTE RATHER ODD!

Great energy boost
Not sticky
Does the job!

Heavy cold bogey texture lol.
Taste - stick to blackcurrant, I spend a good 5 mins trying not to hurl with the other ones!

Great product, odd texture and some rather strange flavours, but I keep buying them, so they obviously do the job!

THE MOST PALATABLE GEL I HAVE FOUND

Isotonic, no water required. Very mild flavour. Thinnish consistency makes it easy to get down. Tropical flavour is actually pretty pleasant.

Like all gels, it's sticky if you spill it in the wrong places.

Excellently palatable gel. Isontonic and actually quite edible. Perfect!!

A REALLY GOOD BOOST BUT TEST THEM ON YOUR TASTE BUDS

I was pleasantly surprised when I used Go gels on a long distance run. Unlike some gels they delivered the energy quickly to my failing legs. Also this didn't leave my hands, mouth, lips, and anything else that made contact with its contents as sticky as a tar pit. The consistency of this product is spot on for me not so runny that it leaks out of the packet as soon as it is opened but not so viscous that you have to chew it.

I will warn you on one thing - flavour. Whilst I usually go for orange as my failsafe on any sports energy product I found that blackcurrant was far more palatable. As for the tropical flavour, it made me gag (much to the amusement of 3 little neds).

I have experimented with several different gels designed for long distance/endurance and have found this brand is by far the best at delivering energy to legs that are screaming for mercy. However I strongly recommend that you do a taste test before you buy a stack of gels or rather than keeping you going you'll be busy trying to keep your lunch down.
