Sugar powder

Mixes ok
Too sweet.
Like the ready-made drink this is just SUGAR in milk... felt a bit sick after it as well. Natural milk and a bit of fruit is much better for you.

I like this product, but I think FGS makers are greedy. Same cost for pre-mixed and powdered.

Good product
No cost incentive for the various formats of product.
I really like the product (both pre-mixed and powdered) I used to buy them all the time, but am I the only one who thinks the makers are taking the general buying public for granted. Why are the costs the same for bottles and powder. Even if you buy in bulk (huge tubs of the powder) the per serving cost is virtually the same with no incentive for bulk buying or saving the planet with no bottle waste etc. When challenged they (FGS) say production costs hamper this saving.
I simply don't believe it. I have stopped buying this product.
Wont make any difference to them I know.

Excellent recovery drink, I use everytime after exercise whether it be football, running or cycling.

Quick, easy to make, tastes good (except the berry flavour), banishes the stiffness that follows intense exercise.
The berry flavour could certainly do with improving.
An excellent product, since I've been having one after exercise (football, running or cycling) I no longer have the evening or morning after stiffness and aches and pains that normally follow exercise.

Slightly soapy taste puts me off

The convenience is great -- the unique sachet design is fantastic; good range of flavours; great balance of carbs, protein and vitamins to aid recovery.
I find that the flavours of the For Goodness Shakes and powdered mixes and the ready-to-drink product leave a slightly soapy taste in my mouth as if they use an emulsifier to keep the protein soluble.
I love the convenience of FGS products but the taste puts me off. I've tried a dozen other protein powders (my favourite is Reflex) and FGS powders rank near the bottom for taste (although they are not strictly a protein product). I'll still buy a bottle of FGS from a supermarket if I haven't got my own powder because it's better than any of the soft drink alternatives but the taste good be better.

Of all the recovery drinks I've tasted, these are the best.

It is a milk shake so needs to be well shaken in a 750 bottle. I use them after a hard bike session and they instantly have a beneficial effect, leaving me less tired. The chocolate flavour's the best tasting in my opinion and doesn't make the process of a nutritional ordeal. But try the introductory pack from Wiggle which has all three flavours and a bottle.
Pity you can't buy the three flavours in one box. Does need to be well shaken.
Great benefits and enjoyable to drink.
