GREAT STUFF WHEN MIXED RIGHT!

Tastes great without being 'heavy' like some drinks. Never upset my stomach.
If not mixed right can taste a little powdery.
If you are doing some serious training or long distances (marathon & up)then this stuff is what you need. Make sure you chill it first and let it 'ferment' for at least 1 1/2 hours for great tasting recovery drink.

HORRIBLE STUFF!

Probably does what it "says on the tin"
Totally unpalatable - can't stand the stuff.
Taste is so awful that I actually gave my large tub of the stuff away to a friend. I'll stick with a banana or two.

GOOD TASTING RECOVERY DRINK

Although slightly sceptical whether a recovery drink works any better than eating solid foods, it certainly is easier to guzzle down, tastes just like milkshake and is easier on the stomach post training than solids.
The strawberry and bannana are good flavours if mixed as per the instructions.
If made weaker(ie. more water than instructions dictate), they do taste pretty naff, so be warned.
Can be a powder taste if you attempt to drink straight after making - best to make before you train and allow all the powder to disolve fully.
Great taste if mixed correctly and seems to aid recovery if training hard on consecutive days. Haven't tried many others so its hard to compare just how good it really is for recovery.

SPORTSMAN'S STAPLE. TRAIN HARDER TOMORROW.

Great tasting, easy on the stomach and quickly absorbed - perfect for those who can't face solid food after hard training. Perfect mix of carbohydrate and protein, along with electrolytes to reverse the catabolic effect of training. Low in fat too, it promotes muscle repair and glycogen recovery. Convenient to have in your kit-bag to drink before you shower.
As with all branded nutrition, it is more expensive than a traditional milk and banana smoothie.
Despite the price over a normal recovery snack, this is noticably more effective after the hardest training sessions. You'll find you won't eat the entire fridge, which usually happens if you miss the 15 minute 'window'.
