‘No correction, just protection’ is the tagline Saucony has attached to this shoe, and that’s a fair summary of its qualities. The outsole is far more robust than many other barefoot models, which allowed for a worry- and pain-free run, even on patches of gravel. In terms of updates, Saucony has switched the Velcro fastening from the previous version for laces, and has introduced strips of lightweight film across the upper to hold the foot in place without adding weight.
