Adidas adiStar Ride 2

Cushioning and responsiveness |

Poor breathability |
The first version of the Ride proved popular with club and casual runners alike for its combination of cushioning and responsiveness, so
adidas has changed little with this update. The Ride II has a split heel and longitudinal grooves on the outsole to reduce speed of pronation, and semi-blown rubber
in the forefoot to increase responsiveness while maintaining durability.
Our testers loved the level of cushioning and support-to-weight ratio of this shoe. However, some testers found lack of breathability in the upper to be an issue.
Our wear-testers say: "I ran in these with an injured knee and would not have dreamed of doing so if the cushioning had not been so excellent." - Tom Cooke
