Asics GEL Cumulus 8
The midsole bears the brunt of the changes in the Cumulus 8. If you're a fan of this shoe, though, you'll be pleased to read that the alterations aren't shocking.
The whole midsole, rather than just the forefoot, is now made from Asics' durable SpEVA foam, and there's a redesigned plastic shank under the midfoot which has allowed Asics to reduce the amount of foam used in the shoe. Other than that, a little more GEL has been placed in the rearfoot for extra padding.
