The technology (and price) of the Cumulus has been upgraded. A Space Trusstic unit has been added under the arch, there's more Gel, cushioning and Solyte material in the midsole for a lighter shoe. Still a straightforward cushioning shoe, fans of the Cumulus 8 will be pleased to hear that it doesn't feel that different. If anything, despite the extra GEL, it's not as plush as before and feels less flexible on the run. The upside of this is that the shoe is more stable. Its snug fit, breathable upper and reduced weight impressed our testers, with more than one commenting that it made a good performance shoe.
