Please please help! Any recommendations which is the best out of these shoes! I wear orthotics and have suffered from hip/knee pain. Is any of them better, worse than the other? Looking at latest womens nimbus v. new balance 1062. Med weight runner I think 8 and quarter stone so didn't know if this made a difference? x

i have been running in the new balance 1062 since july this year. i wear orthotics and they fit no problem. i find them really comfortable, i like a lot of forefoot cushioning and certainly have no complaints there either.

i use them both on road and on forest paths.

Asics tend to be a narrow fit, NB and Brookes tend to be wider with Saucony somewhere in the middle.

At least, that's how I've found it.

Asics have never yet let me down (apart for the 210's I had to send back, but they replaced them with a pair of Kayano shoes so I didn't mind at all.)

I wear Orthotics and wear NB. I have never had a better shoe. They are a wider fit and have more toe room and are relatively light.

I think exercies would improve your knee/hip problem. I have ordered some more NB's and these will be the 4th pair so far.

I had NB 1062s as my previous pair and they were lovely. Really well cushioned. I have morton's neuromas, so need a lot of cushioning and these fitted the bill perfectly.

Never tried asics, they're too narrow for my feet. NB come in 2 width fittings, so might be more accomodating for your orthotics.
