TURNED INTO A GREAT SHOE AFTER 10 OR SO RUNS
I bought my Nimbus 14's last September after good experience with the 12. However I struggled with them at first and did not feel any of the hyped benefits associated with the shoe. So I went out and bought some Brooks Ghost 5's which are great, but in an attempt to save my Brooks I started doing shorter runs with the Nimbus. After 10 or so 10K runs they felt perfect and now I am very happy with my original purchase. A great light weight shoe that grips the road well in wet and icy conditions.
I have noticed the front part of the sole webbed layer is beginning to peel from the main part of the forefoot sole. I don't know if this is common, but the shape of the forefoot sole is prone to catching and scuffing on pavements.
Did take a while to break in, however a very good light weight shoe that offers the combination of speed and cushioning.
