GREAT LIGHT SHOE

Usually wear Ascics Nimbus, but thought I'd geta second pair to run alongside. Seem much lighter which is good

None so far, but dont feel as snug round the ankle and heel as the nimbus

Great shoe especially for £49, will definately stick with Mizuno's for now!

GREAT SHOE ONCE YOU GET PAST THE INITIAL 'STIFF' FEELING!

A heel box that is very snug and close fitting. Loads of room in the toe box. Smooth transition from heel to toe. Very well ventilated bnecause of the light mesh uppers.

Strictly a road shoe, there is no off road capability because of the open waves in the heel. These shoes seem to be quite heavy but then it's supposed to be a top of the range cushioned shoe and you do get a lot of shoe for the money.

Looking at some of the comments made here by others I'm curious to know if those having problems with the creations are the heavier or lighter runners?

I normally weigh in at 84kgs!

I agree with the comments about the shoes feeling 'stiff' initially, but they do feel better after a few miles, for me that was about 100! The crucial point with this is that regardless of how they felt I had no problems with old injuries recurring so they must have been doing their job effectively!

My first run in these shoes was nearly two hours without any sign of blisters or other problems, so this gives you their true measure!

A QUICK SHOE

light weight, close to the ground

not as cushioned as I expected - seems to deflect a lot under loading during fast intervals - but I'm 78kg.

Quite pleased but done less than 200 miles so still getting a feel for them.

GETTING BETTER BUT DECIDEDLY FIRM

Mesh upper in the summer and fit with a snug heel and a roomy toe box.

Initially too firm for a top end cushioning shoe.

I'm just starting on these in the run-up to FLM2007 and far more road work than I would usually suffer (normally off road 4 times a week). I have used two Creation 5s and this version of the shoe seems much firmer by comparison, the very reason I moved to the Creation from the Rider. However on this Saturday's long run (19 miles on country lanes) they did finally start to feel softer and were comfy the whole way round, so perhaps they take 50 miles to warm up - unlike me. I would rate higher if this improved comfort is evident for the next 400 miles.

SAVED MY SHIN SPLINTS!!

Great cushioning and support

Had years of trouble from shin splints until I found these trainers. Touch wood haven't had a problem since!!
