Mizuno Wave Creation 7
Runners used to Mizuno's subtle updates may be shocked by the latest Creation - it looks radically different to the last model. That's due to the new triple Skeleton Wave in the rearfoot.
Instead of a Wave placed between layers of foam, the Creation now has two plastic Wave plates separated by rubber pillars - the bottom one extending into the forefoot to boost smoothness - and a third EVA Wave for cushioning.
These are supplemented by Mizuno's softer AP midsole material and inserts of slightly more resilient foam. The Creation 7 also features a wider forefoot for improved stability.
