Great road shoe for any distance

Good fit
Responsive
Excellent cushioning
Very comfortable
None that I can think of...
Was fitted with a set of Mizuno Wave Riders a number of years ago by Run and Become in Cardiff. Haven't looked back and have stuck with them since, just ordered my fourth pair. Lovely and comfortable, good cushioning and IMHO very responsive. The model is now up to #14 in the series but like most things I don't think they change a winning formula by much other than aethetics year on year, so see if you can get a deal on #12 or #13s online :D

I love my Wave Riders

Really well cushioned, they feel like slippers
None, love them
After trying a number of different shoes I always end up favouring my wave riders for long runs.
If anythign they maybe don't last as long as other shoes.

Unfortunately this shoe failed to live up to the hype for me. I don't feel like the shoe offers enough cushioning for me. It was the second time I allowed a running shop to convince me that the shoe they suggested was the perfect one for me. Mine cost me £80 which was a very expensive step in finding my ideal shoe. I hav eno doubt this shoes will be perfect for some, they're just not for me

excellent, well cushioned long distance shoes

After running in asics for many years I decided my tight calves and aching knees might benefit from a change. I Ordered nike lunar glide+ online without trying them on and was vey dissapointed with them. they seemed cheap and stiff with uneven seams inside so I sent them back. Spotted the wave rider on sale at a local shop for £40.

I'm very pleased with them. I did 5.5 mile in them straight out the of the box with no problems at all. The calf tighness is much reduced and the knees seem ok too.
Not sure how they will wear. As the cushioning is a little softer than some others I think it will suffer after some miles but time will tell
The first pair of mizunos I've owned and at £40 they're the cheapest running shoes I've owned too. Far better than my asics gel cumulus 9's which cost twice as much. A wider fit than some with quality construction and comfort.

I swear by the Waverider

Perfect shoe for me (6'2" 13 stone marathon runner). Had problems with knees 5 years ago. Switched to the Waverider - and hey presto, end of problem. Been buying annually ever since.
None - it's comfortable, reliable and well priced.
Would never consider any other shoe.
