Bouncier cushioning in the midsole |

Low responsiveness and a tight toebox |
What's new? More built up than its predecessor, this shoe uses a higher grade of EVA (foam rubber) in the last and a bouncier cushioning in the midsole. The heel collar and moulding have also been tweaked.
We say Beefed-up support and more cushioning appear to have come at the cost of performance, according to our lab reports, which had the WR14 as the second least responsive shoe on test. A high heel collar and a tight toebox were among the complaints from testers, although the latter improved as the shoes were worn in.
Wear testers say "Initially, my toes were cramped. But after two runs I felt comfortable." Keith Simpson
