A comfortable and supportive shoe which hold up against long runs Continue reading...
I've raced in them and trained in them and they still give me as much as they can even after I've run them into the ground, then I go out and buy a new pair! Continue reading...
would not buy New Balance again Continue reading...

..been away from running for 6/9 months and need to replace my old NB 1221's. Can you tell me whtehr these are still readily available or have they been replaced with a new model (which is what normally happens to me when I find a good pair of shoes!)

Have you tried Bourne Sports? They often sell off older models.

What, like the woman they always have in their brochures?

LOL!

Yes, the 1221s are still available and haven't yet been replaced by a new model. You should be able to find them at most retailers that stock New Balance

(Jon, SVT - behave!)

Jon - you provided the perfect cross. I just nodded it in.

Ian - have you tried the NB factory shop? Might be worth a bet for getting older models cheap.

Sorry Ian. Sorry annajo.

If they're a current model, I believe Sweatshop would probably stock them.

Yes, they are still around. I've a pair of Size 9's done maybe 100miles for sale! (they're fine if muddy, just too wide for my feet).

I bought a pair of them about a month ago at Run&Become.

The NB outlet at Kewick had them at £60 last month.
