Nike Air Max+ 2009

An update from the Air Max 360 III, Nike has concentrated on making this a more cushioned ride without making the shoe too bulky.

A new Max Air unit runs the full length of the shoe for a softer footstrike; a double-layered mesh upper provides breathability and durability, while ultra-lightweight Flywire in the upper holds the foot in place without adding extra weight.

The Air Max+ looks and feels bulky, but our testers found it provided an impressively plush and responsive ride despite the size, although there really is minimal stability, so it's not suitable for even mild overpronators.
