RELIABLE, TECHNICAL SHOE, BUT OVERPRICED
They are well-made and consequently very robust. I have worn them in a variety of conditions, from ankle-high mud to heavy rain, and they've maintained their shape, flexibility, cushioning and fabric quality without looking like they've really been used at all. The cushioning in the sole is superb, providing good support, whilst minimising impact.
They may not be suitable for people with wide feet, or high arches: they are quite snug and as a result I have had to experiment with many ways of tieing the laces, with varying successes, to get the best fit to my foot. Even so, I still experience days of tightness or tingling in my feet when I run, which can only be attributed to a poor fit. They are also quite low at the ankle, so may not be suitable for runners who need greater stability around the top of the foot or those who have the tendency to pronate.
A good reliable shoe, that I've found to have an average runners' shoe lifespan of 1 year, with an average weekly usage of three times. Given their specific shape, I'd recommend anyone considering purchase really do try these on before buying as they won't suit everyone. Sadly, it's their price that lets them down: at £120 they have a lot to live up to, and I feel there are probably better value models on the market.
