Good shoe but varies year to year

Well constructed. For neutral runner especially good if you wear orthotics. Reasonable cushioning, Good grip.
I am a high mileage runner (40-60 miles a week) and find these don't give me enough cushioning or at least lose their cushioning fairly quickly. It is not the same with all Pegasus and I find some years better. I think the Volmero a better choice for high mileage but is much more expensive. I suspect they do not have the same cushioning as yesteryear.
Good for most runners doing up to 40 miles a week. OK for trails, training and racing. If you do more than 40 miles then I would recommend paying for more cushioning. Because of popularity last years model usually available at great discount.

Newbie Luck?

Honestly I'm not sure and it may be newbie luck, but I've just started running and luckly these shoes fit my feet's demands and I got it for a bargain. £21! At SportsDirect. All I have to say is: look around first before going shopping for your shoe, there are millions of low prices out there just take the time.

Not impressed.

Reasonable cushioning, quite breathable. Affordable but there's a reason for that...
The shoe actually caused my foot to hurt (especially after a race). Does not feel responsive or particularly comfortable to wear and it is very stiff and constricting.
I know this shoe gets good reviews from some runners but it certainly didn't suit me at all. Horses for courses I guess but I'll never wear 'em again.

FIRM RIDE, NOT TOO SQUISHY.

Good for long runs, no stiff joints the next day. Love the roomy forefoot which gives me more power to push off.
Upper is a little large for me, i have to pull the laces quite tight. Feet sometimes feel heavy when im tired.
i used to wear asics gel stratus, but seemed to narrow and my feet with spill over the last.
