Unfortunate high hopes for a heavily acclaimed shoe
One of the more asthetically pleasing shoes on market. The look works well as casual shoes and as for running attire. Exterior design and colors would age well.
Surprisingly heavy shoe, NOT comfortable once break past walking pace, Felt like a sink - no give/bounce.
Nike shoes have been hit or miss for me. They are either a great built shoe that lasts a while - or a wreck that breaks me. These were not the worst expereince, but they were quite a wreck.
This was my first Nike+ shoe and I got hold of the Nike+ system (Sportband). I initially started off on the treadmill (Winter) and eventually moved to the roads. I could never break past a 10:10min pace without having to overly exert in the run. In turn, running became very painful experience (from feet to hips). Even the sensor was not reading distances right (I lost miles to it). I retired these shoes a few days back (after 100miles clocked in).
I have been using my Adidas Kanadia TRs as of late (Since no trails are around me now :( )- moving a heck lot better and in less pain (got a sensor pouch for it). Last glimmer of hope for Nike is a pair of Skylons I am breaking in (for the race days).
