A Natural Motion crash pad in the heel of the shoe gives a softer landing, and a full-length layer of Poly-Urofeen over the midsole gives a better push-off. The upper has been redesigned for comfort and fit. In the women's shoe, the outsole has been stripped down for a more flexible ride. There's also a space for the Nike+ footpod. Men's: Cushioning and out-of-the-box comfort are better than ever, and the ride is faster and more responsive. Though the men's shoe is significantly firmer than the women's, male testers were more than happy with the flexibility on offer. Women's: much more flexible than the men's, and the toebox feels roomier than before. Our wear-testers say: "Good flexibility, really springy and stable.
