Lightweight cushioned race day shoe.

very lightweight. The insole is very comfy! Good feel of the road beneath you feet...good grip!

Not so comfy at higher miles for heavy runner.

I really liked this shoe when I first ran in them. I ran a few 5 mile runs and the cushioning was very good and the shoe was so lightweight. When i up my training mileage to over 9 miles 3 times a week they were not so good. I am a slightly heavy runner..think more boxers physic, Floyd Mayweather, than Mo Farah...and i noticed i was getting a few niggles....sore ankle, sore knee, hamstrings hurting. I have switched back to my favorite Asics Gel Nimbus..just bought the new 13's. They are much better....so, so comfy...much more suited to my physic. No more pain, just comfort all the way....loving my running again. I had the Nimbus 11's before and these 13's are great....loving the memory foam heel...so comfy...these are much lighter than the 11's too but just as cushioned. Back to the Nike....i have a neutral foot with a slight underpronation...so these shoes were suitable...for myself i think these would be a great race day shoe but not a regular 3 day + training shoe. I felt the cushioning for high milage pounding was not good enough. If you are a light runner (weight wise) i think these would be great. The flywire material is really great so lightweight...and the insole is so comfy...much better than the asics. Being heavy unfortunately the cushioning was not enough for me. Shame as I loved the lightweight feel of shoe. If i was just running 3-5 miles a couple of times a week then this shoe would be fine. As I like to run half marathons i need a more cushioned shoe.

Very Good light weight shoe

light weight but resonable cushioned

I have recently brought a pair from sports direct for just £45 and they are excellent. I had been wearing pro grid and found that they wore out very quickly on the outside of the foot and my last pair were far to tight for my wide feet. Even through I had brought the same sizes as I alway have had. These are very comfortable and light weight and have a resonable amount of coushing. I ran 10 mile in the straight away with no problems just a slight burning in my feet as my wide feet stretched them to shape. Overall very good shoe.

Great shoes, I run slightly flat footed and they just give the right mix of comfort and support ! :)

Supportive, comfortable just a really good shoe.

Laces keep coming loose(I may need to learn to tie my laces properly), big bird (aka sesame street) yellow .

Light Strong Flexible!!!

Light weight ,comfort, strong, flexible, excellent styling!

fit can be slightly off, but nothing too drastic

Best shoe I've bought so far, i usually don't like Nike trainers as i dont like the fit but these are a definate change in the right direction for me !!! If they fell apart tomorrow I'd go out an buy another pair!

Still not as good as the original Lunartrainer

Fairly lightweight, good cushioning and stylish

Not really any different to any great extent to a lot of other good running trainers, whereas the Lunartrainer was radical with the springy pads on the bottom, totally different to any other trainer and brilliant. Still don't understand why Nike changed the bottom and took away the springy pads. Also not as lightweight as the Lunartrainer either and the Lunartrainer was also a better fit, more midfoot support and toe room.

Why change a brilliant trainer and produce something a lot worse?
