Saucony Grid Jazz X

Summary | Full Review | Reader Reviews | Gallery | Specs | Discussion
If you remember the first Saucony Jazz, then you’ve been running a long time: this classic shoe is 25 years old. The Jazz’s longevity is, in part, thanks to Saucony’s policy of tinkering with the shoe when it updates it, rather than making sweeping changes. The Jazz X is once again a case of evolution rather than revolution.

The biggest change is the addition of Saucony’s HRC (High Rebound Compound) to the shoe’s rearfoot – it’s been under the toes for five years already. In the heel it works with Grid cushioning to provide a plush feel. The Jazz retains Saucony’s trademark snug, supportive heel fit and roomy forefoot – which makes it popular with women runners.
