A GREAT ROAD GOING SHOE, PLENTY OF COMFORT AND CUSHIONING
A great ride. At nearly 85kgs these shoes provide a fantastic level of cushioning and comfort, but when you decide to put the hammer down and bend on some speed they respond like a pair of racing slicks and allow you to really go for it! Very responsive.
The fit is snug without being restrictive in any way. The mesh upper allows the foot to remain cool even in the summer heat (huh??), no seriously I do most of my running during the hottest part of the day and the shoes work well at keeping the feet cool.
I've not had any blistering even after a 2 hour run, I'm looking forward to my first marathon in them.
The only thing I can think of is that I have quite wide feet and these shoes fit perfectly, so anyone with very narrow feet may find problems with excessive movement in the toe box.
Whatever changes have been made between this shoe and the Trigon 3's may well have been subtle but where the 3's are good these are great.
