Saucony ProGrid Jazz 12

Summary | Full Review | Reader Reviews | Gallery | Specs | Discussion

Like Saucony’s top-end models, the Jazz has evolved from the Grid to ProGrid heel system for improved shock absorption. The upper has a lighter and more breathable mesh and the insole has been upgraded for better cushioning. The forefoot has been changed for

a more secure fit.

Our testers found this shoe to be a mixed bag. The upper is both breathable and tough, heel cushioning is fantastic and the updated forefoot holds the foot in place well, although this contributes to a lack of flexibility in the midfoot through the transition. Due to the small toe-box, this is one for those with narrower feet. Our wear-testers say:

"It has good cushioning and durability, but it felt narrower at the back than the front, and too narrow in the midfoot." - Kerry McCarthy
